Not your fault, just the way my hosting company works (not even the 777 trick will work). WP's automatic upgrade for plugins works great because it uses FTP every time. </p> <p>I'm hoping there's an easy way to force WPAU to use FTP, like maybe modifying a function to return false? Everything was smooth as silk, and I was trying to upgrade a plugin "forget which one it was", but now I'm out of luck. I am trying to get the DB put back in phpmyadmin, but I was wanting a good beginners walkthrough on EXACTLY how to do it. Simplified, step by step, recovery system for getting my site reverted so I can try it again. Any help at all would be helpful. I have all of the backups secured and ready to go, and now I just need the knowledge of the Gods to get me on my way.
