   Hi,

   First, thanks for writing this plugin.

   I am trying to run it and am failing during the maint. mode phase:

   Warning: copy(/home/yurchuk/public_html/philip/index.php.wpau.bak) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/yurchuk/public_html/philip/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/wpau_upgrade.class.php on line 359

   This is because WPAU thinks it does NOT need to use FTP, but it does. Not your fault, just the way my hosting company works (not even the 777 trick will work). WP's automatic upgrade for plugins works great because it uses FTP every time.

   I'm hoping there's an easy way to force WPAU to use FTP, like maybe modifying a function to return false? I'd like to hear from the creator before I go destroying my site with ignorant mods.
