Plugin returned Page Cannot Be Found

I tried to upgrade to 2.6.2 today from 2.6.1... started up the plugin (first time using it on this site) and entered the FTP credentials. It seemed to go OK and advanced to the next step/page. Clicked to proceed from there and it gave me the 404 (Page Cannot Be Found) page for the blog.

Now I can't get to the admin and it gives me a 404. The rest of the site seems to work, though.

Any thoughts/help?

I even went and deleted all but the wp-content folder and uploaded a fresh 2.6.2 and that doesn't work either. Is there something the plugin does at the point it failed (DB or file) that would cause this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
