I just used this great plugin for an upgrade from 2.3 to 2.3.1. My main reason for the upgrade was to take advantage of WLW's tags feature.

Unfortunately, after the upgrade it still didn't work. Evidently the manifest file didn't get installed. I downloaded the .zip and the .gz versions of WP231 and the manifest is there but it is not in my installation.

Can I just place the manifest file using FTP or do I need to do something else? I really want to get this working.

Also, hopefully you can reproduce this and correct the issue.

I have done some more checking and I think I see what isn't happening. There are 58 files in the source listing of wp-includes but according to my log file only 13 were moved over and of these all of them were overwriting other files instead of copying new ones.

This begs the question - what else wasn't upgraded correctly? I am starting not trust the plug-in.

    Hi SeanO,

I will definitely look into this issue and fix it.

    Thanks
